1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using this website (the "Site"), joining the Operator Z DayZ server (the "Server"), or purchasing anything through the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site or the Server.
2. Description of Service
Operator Z is a community-run, third-party DayZ game server and an associated storefront offering optional paid add-ons such as Priority Queue access, Clan Tag Color, and custom cosmetic skins. Operator Z is an independent community project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bohemia Interactive a.s., the publisher of DayZ.
3. Compliance with Bohemia Interactive's Monetization Rules
DayZ server operators are permitted to charge for server access and for perks that do not affect gameplay balance (such as queue priority and cosmetic items like clan tags), subject to Bohemia Interactive's official Server Monetization Rules, and only once registered and approved as a monetizer through Bohemia Interactive's approval process. Operator Z's paid offerings are intended to stay within those limits — access and cosmetic perks only, nothing that grants a gameplay advantage over non-paying players. Bohemia Interactive's monetization rules, FAQ, and approved-server list are published at bohemia.net/monetization; nothing in these Terms overrides or takes priority over Bohemia Interactive's own rules, which govern independently of anything stated here.
4. Eligibility
DayZ is rated Mature by the ESRB due to intense violence, blood and gore, and strong language. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to make a purchase on this Site. If you are a minor with permission to play DayZ, any purchase made on your behalf must be made and authorized by a parent or legal guardian.
5. Accounts, SteamID64 & Discord
Purchases and in-game entitlements are tied to the SteamID64 and Discord username you provide at checkout. You are responsible for providing accurate information — Operator Z is not responsible for items delivered to the wrong account because of information you entered incorrectly. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own Steam and Discord accounts.
6. Purchases, Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) and are subject to change at any time without prior notice; the price in effect at the time you complete checkout is the price you pay. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processors, Stripe and PayPal — Operator Z does not collect or store your full card number or bank account details. Some listings (such as Priority Queue and Clan Tag Color) grant access for a fixed period (e.g. 30 days) rather than permanently; renewing requires a new purchase.
Monthly Priority subscription. If you choose the Priority Queue subscription, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method the subscription price shown at checkout when you sign up and again every month after that until you cancel. Each successful payment adds another month of Priority Queue access to the SteamID64 you entered. You can cancel at any time from your Player Profile ("Manage or Cancel") or by contacting us in our Discord. Cancelling stops future charges, and your Priority stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe may retry it; if it cannot be collected, the subscription ends. If we change the subscription price, we will give notice in advance, the new price applies from your next renewal after that notice, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
7. Delivery of Purchased Items
Priority Queue access is applied to the SteamID64 associated with your order automatically after payment is confirmed, and is typically available within a short time of purchase. Clan Tag Color and custom skins are delivered after you open a ticket in our Discord with your order ID and your request. If a purchased item has not been applied within a reasonable time, contact us through Discord with your order ID so we can investigate. See our Fulfillment Policy for more detail on delivery timing and what to do if something's missing.
8. Refund Policy
Because purchases grant intangible digital entitlements that are typically applied shortly after payment, all sales are final and non-refundable once an item has been delivered, except where required by applicable law or at our sole discretion. If you believe you were charged in error or an item was never delivered, contact us before opening a dispute with your bank or payment provider so we can resolve it directly.
Subscription payments follow the same rule: each monthly payment is non-refundable once that month of Priority has been delivered. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.
9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us to attempt a resolution is treated as a violation of these Terms. An account associated with an unresolved or fraudulent chargeback may be permanently banned from the Server and Discord, and may be refused future purchases, in addition to any rights our payment processors give us to contest the dispute.
10. Clan Names, Designs & User-Submitted Content
Clan names, custom skin designs, and any other content you submit must not be offensive, impersonate another player, staff member, or brand, or violate Steam's or Discord's terms of service. We reserve the right to refuse, remove, or change any submission that violates this section, without refund.
11. Server Rules, Bans & Suspensions
Use of the Server is subject to our in-game and Discord community rules (available in our Discord), including rules against cheating, exploiting bugs, and abusive behavior toward other players or staff. We reserve the right to warn, kick, suspend, or permanently ban any player from the Server or Discord for violating those rules or these Terms, at our discretion and without refund for any active paid entitlements at the time of the ban.
12. Service Availability & Changes
We do our best to keep the Server online and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Server may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, wipes, or reasons outside our control (including issues with our hosting provider). We may add, remove, or change store offerings, pricing, or Server rules and settings at any time.
13. Third-Party Services
The Site and Server rely on third-party services, including Steam, Discord, Stripe, and PayPal. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or actions taken by those third parties.
14. Intellectual Property
The Site's design, text, graphics, and other content (excluding DayZ's own game assets, which belong to Bohemia Interactive) are the property of Operator Z and may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without our permission.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and Server are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Operator Z and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or Server, or from any purchase made through the Site, including loss of in-game progress, items, or access.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect as soon as they're posted on this page, with the "Last updated" date above reflecting the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or Server after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
